Oh joy. The rules. Boring, but necessary. As long as you follow them, you should be fine.

(CANONS)

Please choose only canon characters, which means I don't want to see
originals on the site yet. I will lift this, somewhat ban, maybe a little
later when I get a good, juicy plot going, or something. So, just for
now, ONLY Canons. This also means to stay as close to in-character
as possible. That's like having Captain Jack Sparrow quit drinking
for a period of time. It's just....wrong.

(ACTIVITY)

I know we all have lives out of the interwebs and the RP world, but
please don't just join and never come back. PM an Admin if you plan
on being away for a period of time, or post in the Absences board.
It's just common curtesy. We want dedicated people, so don't join
if you aren't going to be a committed member. Now I know that a
bunch of you have school, work and actual lives to leave, so I am not
going to demand that you come on every day, but at the very least
a few times a week minimum. Okay, activity is not just logging in, it
is ACTUALLY posting something! OOC or roleplay, it doesn't matter.
I'm really flexible if you have to go away, as long as you PM an admin
or post in the correct board with a warning, so we're prepared for
your absense. Especially when your in the middle of a thread with someone.

(REGISTRATION)

Cookies to you if you sign up! - cough - ahem. Back to business.
Sign up with whatever name you desire. Your DISPLAY NAME will be
changed by me to your characters name. Unless you do that already.
Application is in the applications board. Fill it out CORRECTLY and
with CARE or I will go Death Eater on you! Nah, just kidding. But
seriously, spend a few extra moments to give your character detail.
Need help? Ask! Honestly, we don't bite. Once you have submitted
an application, don't PM an admin about acceptance. Period.
Give us about 24 hours to get around to it before even thinking it.
We all have real lives to lead, so be patient. PS: You can have as
many characters as you want and can handle. And create at least
one guy for every two girls. It silly when there's about ten males
and fifty females. Keep it even okay?

(RATING)

Just so that you are aware, there will be no mature contents on this
site. I don't like to limit members, but it's necessary. No sex or
drugs, please. Alcohol use, very brief. Questions concerning maturity?
Just PM me. No swearing.

(ROLEPLAY)

We are a pretty literate site, and accept members of just about any
level of experience. Just note that even newbies can post at least
one decent paragraph! The admins have got hawk eyes and we will
not tolerate one liners or two liners, etc...For this site, please aim
for at least a solid paragraph MINIMUM. Or 200+ words. I won't
nit-pick or anything, so long as it looks like a decent bit of writing.
It's not much to ask, so be nice and use your brains and creativity!
Keep it neat and easy to read. Regarding chat talk. It's fine in the
OOC boards as long as people can actually understand what it is
your are trying to say, but don't use it in roleplay threads! Period.
Also, all rp's are to be written in third person. It's just really strange
when people roleplay from the characters own point of view.

(GRAPHICS)

You must have at least an avatar for your character so that we
can get a really nice look at how this person is appearance wise. I
shouldn't have to say this, but no pornographic, or nude material in
any graphics or pictures you post on this site!!! Also one of the things
that really can get me rolling is glittery and blinking, hot pink, tacky
stuff all over the place, so none of that please. Don't stretch the
boards with your images either. If you do, you will receive a nice little
PM. I trust you will be realistic about it. Also, avatars will be either
150x200 (preferably), or 100x100. Signatures no bigger than 400x200.
Now, regarding face claims. The staff will hold a character for no
more than five days. Since this is a multi-fandom site, I do realise
that there will be certain celebrities with more than one character.
In this case, I will accept it. Want to play a cartoon character? Well,
you can. To an extent - On one condition: Please find a play-by that
looks like your character. Check out Disney RP's, so you get the idea.
Just makes things a little more realistic, you know? You can play not
only human-esq characters, but monster as well. Go nuts!

Please please PLEASE try not to use generic actor images for your graphics.
Since in some cases you'll find an actor playing various characters, make sure
Your image is that of your character. Not actor. For example, Johnny Depp
Plays both Sweeney Todd and Captain Jack Sparrow. If you're playing
Jack, make sure you use his images only. Understood? =)
